What’s the current market value of white gold in the Philippines?
I have no idea about purchasing jewelries, white gold necklace to be specific. But I would like to buy a white gold necklace as a gift for a friend and would like to know how much really is the current price of it (per gram or per karat perhaps?) so I would know if I am being overpriced and can haggle.

White gold is usually 14 karat pure. Therefore, the intrinsic Gold Value is currently about PHP 1,060 per gram. However, white gold can be as low as 8 karat and as high as 18 karat and its intrinsic value is then a straight proportion to the assumed 14 karat. Pure gold is 24 karat. The industry mark-up is anywhere from 50-100%.
