Problems With My Gold Fish.?
I have 2 1 inch gold fish in my 10 gal. fish tank, and i went up state this weekend i was only gone for three days.
Well, my orange gold fish has black spots and outlining on his tale…
is this a bad thing?

It could just be the color of your golsfish as they do change color as they age, but more then likely your fish has Ammonia Burns because they produce as much waste as Oscars and Pleco’s. Your small filter you have in your tank can’t handle the ammount of waste your fish are producing. What you should have is a filter that is suited for double the size of your tank.
You have are 2 Common Goldfish. Common Goldfish grow to 12+ Inches, live for 35+ years and will grow to 4-6 Inches in only a few months. They NEED a tank thats 75 Gallons (Since you have 2 of them), without it they will die in only a couple of months.
The Myth about Goldfish growing to the size of the tank is only half true. On the Outside they will only grow to their surroundings, but their Internal Organs will continue to grow untill they die from Internal Bleeding and Hemeridging.
